  Hello,

  I would like to delete my account. I couldn’t find an option under account – would you be able to assist?

  Hi there,

  Take a look here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  Accounts can’t be deleted – instead, you can just let it become inactive. However, you can delete any blogs connected to your account. There’s more information on that process here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Just be aware that once a blog is deleted, its related address can’t be used again. Hope that helps :)

  While you can’t delete your account, you can delete any personal information that you’ve added to your account. The only details you were required to provide when signing up for your account was an email address. WordPress.com will never send you spam to that email address and also won’t sell it to third parties, as clearly stated in their privacy policy. You can disable all email notifications from your account settings:

  If you change that email to a throwaway address there will be no way your account could ever be linked to you. Any other details that you added yourself, you also have the power to delete yourself.
