  This section is repeated, although worded a little differently:

  To unsubscribe from any email notifications from WordPress.com, go to your subscription settings and check the box that says Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com. See the subscriptions support page for more information about this.

  @justjennifer,

  That’s an interesting point. Though it could be worded better,the two paragraphs are talking about two different unsubscribe situations. One for general notifications from WordPress.com and one for subscription notifications.
