  Hi pepbooking,

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted. Just leave it inactive and change the settings so that you will no longer receive any notifications (see linked support document for those directions).

  I wanna delete my account, too.
  I have a blog with wordpress.org – but now, sometimes this is mixed up.

  Please, please let my have my account deleted!

  Hi there,

  You can’t delete your account, as darrellschulte pointed out, but you can delete your site and all blog content. You can also change the account email to an address you never use, and delete all personal information. This essentially eliminates the account.

  When you create a self-hosted WordPress blog (.org), you still use a WordPress.com account to login to features like Jetpack. Is this what you mean when you say they are sometimes mixed up?
