  Hi there,
  I would like to delete my account. Not leave it inactive but actually delete it.
  Please walk me through the steps :-)

  Hi Veronica,

  Unfortunately you cannot delete a WordPress.com account for good.

  The closest solution to the account deletion is leaving it inactive as you said. You can empty out your account from all your data and change the password to a random one, so to make the inactive account basically useless.
