I want to cancel my wordpress account entirely. I want it shut down. It says I cannot do this. If that is the case, I want my account deactivated. I will not support a site that won’t let me post my opinion on the comment threads (and no, the comments aren’t inappropriate what-so-ever, they simply don’t conform with the agenda of the website.) I have had several other problems with the account as well and I want it closed.
I want my account closed. Now. For good.

Username accounts are not deleted but there are steps you can take that amount to removing all personal information and result in leaving only a throwaway email address behind.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
2. To unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:

That’s not done by WordPress. It’s done by the individual site Adminstrator.

It’s the individual bloggers themselves control which comments they choose to approve.
For example, I categorically refuse to approve any troll comments made to my blog. I don’t allow trolls to gave a voice on my blog at all.

I strongly suggest that you stop tailgating me into threads. I do not need nor do I want help. I also am irritated by your unnatural attraction to threads that could become unpleasant. I believe your presence in them is more likely to inflame than it is to calm anyone down. There are many unanswered threads in the back pages rather than on the front page of the forum. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/view/no-replies/page/6
