Delete Account and Sites

Hi, I am trying to delete my 2 sites and my account with WordPress. I’ve followed all of the steps and it still won’t allow me to delete my sites. I’ve managed my purchases and canceled everything. Why is it so difficult to delete the sites?

While you should be able to delete your WordPressdotcom sites by following these directions, https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ do note the section on deleting a site with upgrades.
datafusionblog.wordpress.com currently redirects to your self-hosted site at blog.stibosystems.com

Hi there,
You still have a Premium Theme, Linen on your site, datafusionblog.wordpress.com and another user, mtbshrostibo, owns a site redirect upgrade for the same site.
The Premium Theme won’t prevent you from deleting the site, but the site redirect will as deleting the site will mean that site redirect will stop working. Only the user who owns the redirect can cancel it, in other words, mtbshrostibo will need to cancel it before you can delete the site. I cannot remove that upgrade at your request, as it does not belong to you.
The other site in your account, direccionandodatosdotcom.wordpress.com, does not belong to you but belongs to the username, chojrin22, who also owns several upgrades on that site. You can leave that site which will remove it from your sites list, but you cannot delete it.
