Delete Account and Stop Billing

I deleted my blog techfromastranger.com and just got billed $100. I’d like to get a refund and not be charged going forward. I have been searching the forums and can’t seem to understand how to do that.

I was just charged $100 to my paypal. The user name there is adamplevin. Could you check that way?

There are no charges under that account either.

As billing issues are personal issues and privacy is involved they aren’t sorted on the public support forums. What Staff need to know is what follows:
Name
E-mail
What was the charge made to?- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- Paypal
- Other
What is the name on the card or account?
What is the amount of the transaction?
What is the date of the transaction? (mm/dd/yyyy)
Have you signed up for any WordPress.com accounts? If so, please list them here.
Please list any active email addresses you use.
What question do you have about this transaction? Can you provide any further information?Please go to https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ and click the “why was I charged” link and prove that information.

I dont understand why I was charged $100
I don’t either, neither of the accounts you have provided ever purchased anything at WordPress.com. :)
It was under paypal.
Who is the merchant on the transaction listed as? It’s also worth noting, we don’t sell anything for $100 exactly. Was the charge actually $100?

Apologies it was $99. This is the notification I got from paypal:

As that upgrade includes a domain, I can’t cancel/refund it from here without hearing from the user that owns it. So, you have two options.
1. Log in as the user who owns it, and cancel/refund it from Store -> My Upgrades in the blog’s Dashboard.
2. Log in as the user who owns it, and request the cancel/refund here in a reply.
If you don’t know the username (hint: it’s very similar to the domain name, very similar), use the account recovery form detailed at the bottom of https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ with the PayPal Transaction ID.

I am now logged in as that user and would like a refund please and would like to not be charged again.

No change, and it looks like no one has logged in as that user in almost a year.
If you really can log in as that user, please reply here *as that user* to request the cancelation, or cancel/refund it yourself from Store -> My Upgrades in the blog’s Dashboard.

The user name is techfromastranger. I just logged in as that user. I don’t understand why this is not working.
