Delete account ASAP!

    We have moved our domain and google is still pulling this wordpress site. Please help us remove the account completely. It doesn’t expire until October, but is there anyway to help us!?

    Your http://indescribubbledotcom.wordpress.com/ site is private and search engines will not be able to crawl/ index the content of your site. Google will drop your site from its index over the time, once it sees that the links to your site are not working.

    If you wish to expedite the process, you can request Google to drop your site from its database (https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals) or using Google search console (earlier Webmasters Tools).

    To delete your site:

    • If you have more than one site, go to My Sites → Switch site to select the site you want to delete.
    • Visit your site’s settings page by clicking on My Sites → Settings.
    • Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page, and select Delete Site.
    • Follow the on screen instructions.

    Please note that once deleted you won’t be able to reuse your site address.

    If you have a paid account, you can cancel it from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases link. You can see a detailed guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/ page.

    There is no option to delete your WordPress.com account.

    However, if you wish to leave WordPress.com permanently simply remove all personal information from your Account Settings (https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-settings/) and change your password to a random string.

    Additionally, you can change the email id associated with your account to a temporary one. This will leave your account inactive and prevent you from gaining access to it in the future.
