delete account, but cant

  I have 1 wordpress site that is associated with a wordpress.com account and the I have this wordpress.com account that does not have a site. It this is an empty wordpress account and I wish to delete, but when I try to a message says the email from the account is in use.

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet
