Delete account from Authenticator app

  The Authenticator code has been deleted from my account by mistake. Please delete Authenticator on your behalf so that I can re-link the account to the Authenticator app.

  For security reasons, WordPress.com support cannot manually disable Two-Step Verification (2FA) upon request, as this would bypass the very protection the feature provides. Your first step should be to look for the 10-digit Backup Codes provided during setup (check your ‘Downloads’ folder for a file named wpcom-backup-codes.txt) or select the ‘Verify via SMS’ option if you linked a mobile number. If you have neither, you must complete the Account Recovery Form where you will be asked to provide proof of ownership, such as a transaction ID from a past purchase; once the team verifies your identity, they can disable the old authenticator so you can log in and re-link your new app.
