Delete Add Comment Button

  Hi, for our home page we have a permanent sticky and we need to delete the add comment buttons on the page. In the settings for the page, we told it to not allow comments, but the button is still showing up. Help? Thank you!

  Making the “Allow Comments” choice is easily done by editing. Beneath the editor box on any post you will find a section titled “Discussion” which has these two options:
  ___ Allow Comments.
  ___ Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page.
  Make your selection and click “Save Changes,” knowing that this setting overrides your setting found on the Discussion page here >

  Settings > Discussion
  Default article settings
  ___ Allow people to post comments on new articles
  (These settings may be overridden for individual articles.)

  scroll down that page and find this and make adjustments if required as this setting will over-ride the others:
  Other comment settings
  ___ Automatically close comments on articles older than___ days
