Windows live Writer doesn’t recognize my theme definitions. I red that thos to work I should have on writing definitions that “Uncategorized” should be the correct category. Unfortunately I don’t have that category (think i deleted or changed name).
I also red that with phpmyadmin I could delete all categories to wordpress get automaticaly the uncategorized category, but after 2 days still couldn’t configure apache than php than mysql than phpmyadmin….
I could delete the blog since is new but if i do that I won’t be able to use the same domain again.
So i thing maybe doing a reset to the blog I could be able to start it again and work with windows live writer… i also can’t do it because i’m sent to contact someone to do it…What I really want is to use Windows live Writer with my blog definitions…. SUGESTIONS please
Thanks NUNO
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No need for phpAdmin; you can manage categories from the dashboard. Don’t delete or reset your whole blog, either.
You can perform “bulk actions” on your categories (such as deleting all of them) from the “categories” area.
What this should do is to bring you down to only one category: whichever one was initially named “Uncategorized” when you first started your blog. Then you can rename it back to that. All using the WordPress interface: no code!
A few things, though. First, I’m not familiar with Windows Live; this is just advice on how to reduce your categories to only one. Second, you will (of course) lose all your categories, so go ahead and maybe reassign to tags if you want to keep track of them.

Hi,
thanks for the answer but, I tried that before. When I do “delete” with bulk actions, just remains 1 category but not the original Uncategorized, it’s the one that is assigned in Settings/Writting as “Default post category”. When I change the name nothing changes in Windows live writer.I’m just iniciating the blog so the is no problem to reset all blog…
Thanks again
