  Your site doesn’t have any posts or pages published. If you have other non-visible content here is how to start over:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  because you deleted the placeholder post which comes with every new blog. If you have never published another post, then of course there will be no posts to find on your front/home page.

  All you need do is to publish a post. Then that message will go away. If you have set up categories, the same logic applies. If you don’t have any posts assigned to a category, then no categories will appear in your sidebar: there is nothing to display.

  By “non-visible content” I’m thinking that it’s possible that you might have added image files to your library. Those would be easily deleted with the instructions in the link I gave you above.
