Good news. There is a way for you to remove the data, yourself.
Please know that deleting the contents of your blog is irreversible, so be sure this is something you are 100% okay with being permanent. All content and media will be removed.
FYI: Here is the official support doc on emptying your site where it does also mention the option of creating a new blog: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
I would recommend exporting a copy before proceeding (just in case). Export Instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
You may remove the contents yourself by visiting My Sites → Settings→ General (scroll down to the bottom to find the Delete Your Content option).
If you are absolutely sure you no longer need your content, and would rather a staff member do it for you, please confirm here with a reply, with the full site URL.
Then tag this thread with the modlook tag. You’ll just have to be patient for them to get to it. :)

Staff cannot delete your content. You will have to follow the steps at the link that was recommended by @christinemaze above: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
Those steps would allow you to remove all the content on your website/websites, while keeping the domain/domains active.
