Hello, I would like to delete all content from my site, including my profile picture. I would like to temporarily disable access to my site. If anyone searches for it, I would like them not to find anything at traceycorcoran.wordpress.com.

This link will help you remove your Gravatar profile picture.
If you delete your site it will be permanent. So if you may want to use it again in the future, you could change the privacy option to private.

Setting your site to private, which you have already done, is good way of temporarily disabling access. You can also create a static “unavailable due to maintenance” page. More info on that can be read here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/.
As far as removing your site from search engines, you can use Google’s website removal request tool: https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/.
