Delete all content on the site

    I would like to delete all the content on the site so that I can start fresh. Please delete all posts, drafts and empty the trash. The site keeps crashing when I try and delete more than 20 posts at a time and there are over a 1000.

    Hi dflagg1971,

    To delete all the content on the site so you can start fresh, you have to go to Settings -> General https://wordpress.com/settings/general/

    Scroll down to the bottom of the page

    And select “Delete your content” option

    Yes I know that. Bulk “Move to Trash” keeps crashing the site I am having to do it in tiny little bits of no more that 30. That page also says to contact support for deleting it all.

    This will keep your site and URL active, but give you a fresh start on your content creation. Just contact us to have your current content cleared out.

    Alternatively, you can delete all content from your site by following the steps here.

    I have been just deleting it all in small bits all day.

    So please disregard since it seems to be the only way.

    Can you confirm that the site address that you wish to empty is the same one listed at the top of this thread? I have tagged this to ask if a member of staff can assist you.
