Hi there,
We do not support bulk deleting of your followers, but you can also remove email followers at My Site → People → Email Followers:
https://wordpress.com/people/email-followers/
For more information about removing followers, please visit our support page:

Thanks!

One by one? What a joke!
I’ve moved to MailChimp and need to make sure my followers don’t get emailed the next blog post twice.
I can’t find anywhere that explicitly turns off automatic posts going out to the old list.
If that isn’t a thing either then I guess I am going to be up all night deleting followers individually. I am not being endeared to WP right now.

It would help if you told us the site you needed help with.
As all the sites in your account are Jetpack-connected sites, you can disable email notifications by just disabling that module in the Jetpack plugin:
For more help with this you can reach Jetpack support at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support
On WordPress.com-hosted sites this feature cannot be disabled, as the choice how they’d like to be notified of new posts is the subscriber’s, not the site owner’s on WordPress.com.

So you expect us to manually check all the sites in your account to see which one has followers?
In any case, there’s nothing more we can do to help here, so I’m closing this thread.
If you need any further help disabling the subscriptions module on your site you can contact Jetpack support directly.
