delete an old blog

  Hello there,

  After a recent google search I discovered that the first page of a blog I set up a number of years ago is still live, and comes up as a top result when I search my production company.
  URL: https://finalgrrrlonline.wordpress.com/

  I am wanting to completely remove this entire blog as I will be relaunching the company in the new year with a full website. However, when I login to WordPress I am told that I don’t have any WordPress sites, and therefore do not have the option to remove this content.

  Please can you advise, as it is important to me that this blog is completely removed from the internet?

  All blogs are independent websites and deleting one has no impact on any others at all.

  To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  *Replace “NAME_OF_BLOG” with the actual name of the blog in the URL above.

  If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account

  If the log-in information is lost you need to visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
