Delete and extra blog.

  We made 2 blogs with the same name by accident and need to delete one without losing the name. Can you help?

  There is no abiulity to make two blogs with exactly the same URL (blog address). I suggest you make one of the blogs “Private” and keep it for testing and back-up purposes. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ That’s because when a blog URL is deleted http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/ it cannot be recycled and reused by anyone even the person who deleted it again. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  If you are only referring to the Blog Title and not the URL (blog address) then you can change a Blog Title and/or the optional Tagline at any time on this page > Settings > General

  Go here to fix it:

  Dashboard > Personal Settings > Users > Account Details > Website > save changes
