Delete Banner

  My son put a banner on my website for me and now I want to delete it. I once saw where the code was, but can’t find it now and the company whose banner I have said all I have to do is delete the code and the banner will disappear. Is it really that easy? If so, can someone tell me where to find the code? Thanks.
