Delete Blog

  It mentions to delete a blog go to the tools menu but I do not have the option to delete blog under my tools menu?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  From the Tools section in the dashboard, you will need to go to the Delete Site page. There you’ll find the option to delete the site. We have more information about that here: Delete Site

  If you have trouble finding that page, can you please confirm which blog you want to delete? Then I can help you find the right page where you can delete it. (Please be sure to read all the warnings, because deleting a site is permanent!)

  Hi,
  I can find the delete site under the Savannahway dashboard but I actually need to delete just a blog only (Kakadu Tours & Travel) not the whole site.

  If so, that blog is actually owned by another user account, and the owner would have to log in to delete it:
  https://kakadutoursandtravel.wordpress.com/wp-admin/users.php

  I am the owner that’s why I do not want to delete the entire account just the Kakadutours blog. I have two other blogs under that account.

  Hi there – I’m sorry, but the owner is a different user. You are an Editor on the site.

  The owner account might also be you, but perhaps it’s a second WordPress.com account of yours, in which case, if you logged out as dare2defy and logged back in as that user, you’ll see the delete option.

  If that’s not the case, can you think of anyone else who’s ever worked on that blog with you? I can’t release email addresses for security reasons, but I’m happy to confirm for you if you give me some possible emails/usernames that it could be. :)

  I am the owner, I have also logged on under Dare2defy, how do I log on as another user? I access all of my blogs through this log on.

  Hi there – I’m sorry for the delay in my response. I’m not able to release any information on the owner for security reasons, and I can’t take any action on the blog unless I have a request from the actual owner.

  If you can provide some email addresses you think you might have used for the owner account, I can confirm if it is one of those.
