  Hi,
  I want to delete my blog, but I don’t know how.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,
  You must be logged in under the exact same username account that created a blog to delete the blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  I know, but it just says:

  “Warning! You cannot delete a site if it has a domain registration upgrade because you need access to the site in order to get to the domain manager.

  If you do not want to use your site any more please make it private. Other users won’t be able to visit the site but you can still access the Dashboard so you can get to the domain manager.”

  Thanks for that additional info. Staff can and will remove the domain mapping for you so you can delete the blog. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  I can absolutely help you with that.

  Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain kiki-elisabeth.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using kiki-elisabeth.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel and instead find an alternate solution for retaining your domain and deleting your blog (transfering the domain, setting your site to be “private” etc).

  Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.
