Delete blog, but don't have username, password or ownership proof
-
Dear WP world, please help me.
I used to run a college site a long time ago, and signed up for it with my college email address. Unfortunately, that email account was deactivated when I left college, and I don’t remember my username or my password anymore. Any tips for getting this deleted, and I can’t contact WP directly because their contact form requires that I have ownership proof, which I don’t…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @daisyblossom ,
What is the site that you need help with?
You need to prove ownership of the blog in order for it to be deleted. Have you tried to temporarily have that old email address reactivated? You would need to contact the college about this.
If you can get your email temporarily activated, you would be able to request a password reset, then login and delete the site.

I was at the college more than 5 years ago. It’s very unlikely that they’ll restore my email address for me… No other recommendations on how to contact WordPress?

We can tag this thread ‘modlook’ for staff assistance. I’ve gone ahead and done that. That notifies staff that you are in need of their help. Please subscribe to this thread to receive notifications. Staff will contact you here.
I don’t know if they will be able to help you delete the site.
Please share the domain that you want deleted here.
Thanks!

Without proof of ownership, there is really nothing that can be done. There is simply no way to verify that you are the account owner.

Well, rootjosh, can you please take a look at the website? There’s only like 4/5 pages on it, and it’s pretty much nothing that’s of vital importance. I can send you proof that all the contact people who are mentioned on the site would like it to be taken down, and the people who are mentioned as having content
Please…..

I am sending you an email to the address associated with your WordPress.com account. Please let me know if you do not receive it.
