  need to delete this blog and use the associated email on another blog that already exists

  Hi there, do you mean you want to use this same email address on a different WordPress.com account (not website)?

  If so, when you delete this account the email address will be locked for 30 days before you can use it on a different WordPress.com account. (The reasoning is that you can still reverse an account deletion for 30 days after deletion, so the email address associated with it is locked.)

  If this is what you want to do, before deleting the account, change this account’s email address to something else first and confirm it. Then the email address you want to use on the other account should be available. More info here: https://wordpress.com/support/email-address/

  Keep in mind that you don’t need to change email address if you don’t intend to delete this account. You can have multiple blogs under the same account.
