delete box that frames an image

Hi all
I would like to have my book cover as a large image on the home page of my blog but i can’t delete the box around it – anyone know how i can do this as it’s really unattractive?

I don’t see the box you refer to around your book cover image using Firefox 21. Which browser and version of it are you using please? You can check here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/

Sorry i wasn’t clear. It’s not on my website at present because it doesn’t work with the box around it. I’m just experimenting without publishing bur every time i have only my book image on my home page it inserts a box surrounding it which i can’t seem to delete. Don’t worry if this doesn’t make sense it’s probably me!

You need to switch the editor to Text (=code) and turn this:
<img ETC ETC
to this:
<img style="background-color:transparent;border:0 none;box-shadow:none;" ETC ETC
Same thing in the text widget. -
