How Do I DELETE Categories?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.
1. To edit or delete a category assigned to a post (whether it’s a draft or has already been published), go to Dashboard → Posts → All Posts in your dashboard, hover over the title and click the Edit link. To delete the post click the Trash link.

2. To edit/delete categories in your dashboard go to Dashboard → Posts → Categories

3. To edit or delete dynamic category pages from your custom menu go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus

First Log in your wordpress.
Step 1- Go to : http://nmtedeschi.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Step 2 – Go to Post -> Categories
Step 3 – You can see all the categories listed at the right side. Just select one and you can see edit , quick edit, delete, view. Just click the delete.
All done! Your category is deleted! -
