Delete category

  Hello. I can’t delete a category, just add. I am going to become crazy! I have tried everything. I can just add category, but not delete it. Thanks in advance

  Hey there,

  Are you referring to deleting the categories located on your dashboard?

  You can go to Posts > Categories in order to trash the categories you no longer want.

  Let me know if that is what you are referring to. Thanks!

  It took me a while to find this too. Add /wp-admin to the end of your URL. The dashboad will appear. Then click on Posts and the subcategory categories and you’re good to go! You can manage all of your categories!

  I still dont find it.. Once I do as described I see the published post, scheduled ones etc but only see the category once I go into a post and then there is no way to delete it…

  Make sure you do this step first

  Add /wp-admin to the end of your URL.

  You won’t see it from any other menu.

  Try using your site name in the site address below:

  https://YOURSITENAMEHERE.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

  Here is where you can go to delete your categories. Let me know if that does not work.
