delete category archive, archive title and white space entirely in 2014 theme

  hi guys.
  I am really struggling with this one. I have a child theme and access to css.

  I am using 2014 theme and I want to remove the category archives header entirely from the top of category archive pages AND the associated white space.

  ( here you can see the featured image below the category archive header, i want the featured image to have no white space above it and no title if possible)

  So far i have only been able to remove the title, the white space seems impossible to remove! any help would be greatly appreciated.

  p.s i’m still learning so if you could be specific about which file to put any code into that would be great.

  **should have mentioned the website links to the current version. I have managed to remove the title only but not the white space on my test site but have yet to publish it

  This should do it for all archive category pages:

  body.category.archive #primary {padding-top: 0;}
  body.category.archive .archive-header {margin-bottom: 0;}
  body.category.archive .archive-title {display: none;}
