Delete "category" from Redoable theme

How is it possible to delete category from the Redoable theme?

You can delete any Category on your blog in the Dashborad > Posts > Categories
Note: Deleting a category does not delete the posts in that category. Instead, posts that were only assigned to the deleted category are set to the default category. -
Thanks for your reply, but I would like to use “tags” and not “categories”. After deleting categories above the posts is still written: “Categories: Uncategorized” .

The default “uncategorized” category that cannot be deleted. Search engine treat both categories and tags in exactly the same way.

Ig you use the iNove theme you can suppress the display of Catefories. If you don’t use it you may be able to hide the display or not by purchasing a custom design upgrade and using CSS editing. In some themes like Redoable Lite the selector for Categories includes the Tags as well. So the “uncategorized” cannot be removed on the theme you are using now (Redoable Lite) without hiding the other stuff as well.

I apologize for the typos above and I’m glad you understood me. If you use the iNove theme this will be easily resolved. If you don’t and still insist on using the Redoable Lite theme then you can’t get rid of the “uncategorized” from displaying as we cannot edit templates.
