Delete comment line from my postings

I don’t want anybody to leave comment, but somehow the comment line still appears even after i disabled every options. How can i delete the line “Comments : No Comments” at the end of my postings? Thanks!

edit each post. look at the right side of editor. select ‘discussion’ and edit from there. that will mean nobody can comment on any post. however, you cannot delete that line as it is designed that way by the theme designer. it will stay there but nobody can comment. if you insist on not having that line there, i think with css upgrade that is possible.

Agreed, you can do it with the CSS upgrade but you would be removing the same bit if you allow the comments. It’s pretty much either/or.
IF you really want to do this, please provide a link to where this is occuring as The blog I do have for you doesn’t show any “Comments are closed” posts.

He means “provide a link to the blog so we can look at a post and see what’s happening now, so we can make better suggestions for you.” It’s always easier if we can see the blog we’re talking about. Either link your name to your blog (under Profile) or put a link in a comment here so we can click through.
