Delete comment made on wordpress

Hello,
Some years ago I made a comment which I regret now people search my name on google and my name photo and comment appears. I would like to remove this comment anyone could give me an advice on how to do it? The comment was made using a google account by the way.Thank you in advance.

Btw I tried to contact the blog owner but I got no response. I think he might stopped publish some years ago.

The site owner or Admin or Editor are the only people who can remove the comment you made on that site.

Thank you Jennifer for your reply. I had that idea to. I think as a European union citizen I have the right to be forgotten. Isn’t wordpress respecting this right? I am very sad about this. I think I will need to come in contact with a lawyer to get a better understanding of my rights unfortunately. Does any one know if I have to go to such a measures to have that comment removed?

Since when is the USA an EU country? Contacting a lawyer is your prerogative but will make no difference because the EU law has no jurisdiction when it comes to American corporations and their contracts made with with their users. There is no right under the Terms of Service for WordPress.com which is owned by an American Corporation Automattic Inc., to have comments removed from any blog that you do not own. The policy in the support docs made under the Terms of Service and linked to above is clear on that.

Ok I will contact an attorney. I don’t agree with this policy and it doesn’t seem right however the terms of agreement they maybe. Nobody does this kind of stuff. You place some comment on facebook, youtube, etc. And you can delete it later weather because you are regretted or it is not your point of view any more. In my situation is not something that serious I just don’t feel comfortable somebody finding my opinion about this particular issue. I don’t feel that the holder of the blog should have this power of discarding my comment only if he wants to. This could lead to situation like blackmail. Like I take your comment if you paid a certain amount of money. And it is not certainly right that I will have this stuff associated to my name globally available for the rest of my life if I don’t want to. What am I? A crook? A criminal? -

As @justjennifer has already pointed out, only the owner of a site can delete comments made on that site.
