delete confirmation

i want to delete the blog s3393113.wordpress.com because someone created it for me and i do not want to manage it anymore. i have tried to delete the blog as per instructions but it has been more than 2 hours and i still don’t have the confirmation email.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you the owner of the site in question, meaning did you create the site? If you aren’t the site owner, you can’t delete it

If someone else created the site for you and didn’t transfer the ownership, they can do so following these instructions http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account
After you become the site owner, you should be able to delete it.

hi jennifer, someone made the site and made me administrator without asking me first. i find this strange that someone can do this without my approval. how is that even possible?
i am the owner/ administrator. i have been following all the steps but i have not received the confirmation email to delete the blog. its been 2 days of trying.

Please do not open multiple threads on the same problem. It warps the fabric of time/space.
Are you entirely certain that you are logged in with the correct account and that the email associated with your account is the one where you are checking for the deletion confirmation (including the junk mail folder)?

Also, it is quite possible that someone trying to transfer the site to someone else mis-typed the email address and it ended up in your sites.

That blog is owned by a different user account (kaykay8832). The confirmation e-mail has been sent to them.
