  Somehow my header image got screwed up and I cannot get it to revert back to the original layout. I would like to start anew.

  Here’s how to empty site:

  Once emptied, you can always choose new theme to start over.

  There are lots of themes you can choose here

  Hello,

  I emptied my site out, but the front page is still there.

  How do I get rid of this? Also this layout looks more like wordpress.org rather than wordpress.com. I could not find a place to delete categories or media.

  Emptied the site means you still have the site, just that every content in it was erased.

  To delete categories:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#managing-categories

  To delete media:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/media/deleting-files/

  Please note that you need to access WordPress classic dashboard, which is: http://bitterrootcsa.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  If you want to delete the site, here’s the instruction

  Be aware that deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

  Yes, I emptied my site of everything in hopes of being able to reset my theme.

  Since this did not work, is there a way to completely reset my theme? I have tried choosing other themes to reactive my original one, but it always goes back to how it last was. I would like to use the Sequential theme because I like the header with the single image and the text box all within the color background, but it is no longer there. Is there any way to do this?

  Unfortunately you can’t reset theme.

  Please read the theme documentation here:

  and pay attention at:

  Custom Page Templates
  Sequential has three custom page templates that are particularly useful for business and corporate websites:
  – Front Page Template
  – Full-Width Page Template
  – Grid Page Template

  The sequential demo theme has ‘front page template’ set as front page.

  Follow the step by step instructions on the theme documentation page. Let me know if you still have problems :)

  Thank you for your help. I ended up going with another theme.

  I do have a new problem though. I am using tables throughout my site and the table width seems to be at 100% even though I explicitly say “60%”, etc. Is there anything that is blocking this? The only thing I can think of is the CSS but I am unable to access that.
