  Greetings, it says to contact Support in order to get help with the deletion of posts, pages, media (all else I would like to keep: users & authors and domain name). Can this be done by WordPress directly?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Since you contacted staff to do this, I am tagging this thread for staff attention.

  Meanwhile you can read these:
  You can bulk delete posts, pages from your WP-ADMIN dashboard:
  1. For posts
  i. Go here: http://petraklusmeyer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
  ii. Go to Posts → All Posts(http://petraklusmeyer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php)
  iii. Check all the posts. From the Bulk Actions Dropdown menu select “Move to Trash” and click Apply.
  iv. To delete them permanently, go the the Trash tab. And repeat everything above. Except this time select delete permanently from the Bulk Actions Dropdown menu.

  2. For pages
  i. Go here: http://petraklusmeyer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
  ii. Go to Pages → All Pages(http://petraklusmeyer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page)
  iii. Check all the pages. From the Bulk Actions Dropdown menu select “Move to Trash” and click Apply.
  iv. To delete them permanently, go the the Trash tab. And repeat everything above. Except this time select delete permanently from the Bulk Actions Dropdown menu.

  Thank you! I went ahead and tried it myself. I thought it would take me longer than anticipated. Sorry to my request .. wasn’t necessary after all.

  But I do have one other questions in regard to imports. All exported everything from another WP site and want to import the .xlm files in this now cleared site. Problem: the download contained 3 files but I can only upload one at a time. Do I have to then go ahead upload 1, then 2 etc.? Will that not then erase 1 … Well, I tried it yesterday and I got all messy. Any idea? I basically want one site moved to the other that I just cleared of all the pages, post, tags etc.

  Problem: the download contained 3 files but I can only upload one at a time. Do I have to then go ahead upload 1, then 2 etc.? Will that not then erase 1 … Well, I tried it yesterday and I got all messy. Any idea?

  You can upload the file 1, file 2 and so on, it wont erase the previous uploaded contents, but it will do skip the contents that are already uploaded.

  Alright, follow these steps to move contents of one site to another.

  1. Go here: https://wordpress.com/settings/export/, select a site from which you want to export the contents.
  2. Click on Export All(if you want to export everything), Click on the arrow to if you just want to export specific things like posts, categories etc.
  3. It will give you an .XML export file.
  4. Once that done, go here: https://wordpress.com/settings/import/, select the site into which you want to import the contents.
  5. On the WordPress option click Start Import.
  6. Upload the file and wait for the import process to finish.
