  Hello, I will be rebuilding my wordpress.com site, madelinedrexler.com and would like to delete all the content so that a visitor gets a message like ‘this site does not exist.’

  Here are instructions for emptying your WordPress.com site:

  Empty Your Site to Start Fresh

  You would need to add the message that you want to display when people visit the site.

  Setting your site to Private is another way to block your site from public view. This happens through privacy settings:

  Another option is to empty your site.

  You could also set your site to private.

  Hey @slantedplanet it looks like our forum spam filter got a little zealous and I’ve fished your replies out and deleted the duplicates. If you see in the future that after hard refreshing the forum thread where your replies disappeared, try adding the “volunteer in spam” tag and MODLOOK. Cheers.
