Can you clear and delete all the content from my website? livingrevelation.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
If you are willing to wait rather than doing this yourself http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/ Staff can empty the whole blog for you. That will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files and once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.
If you are sure you want Staff to proceed, and you are prepared to wait then type modlook into the tags in the sidebar of this thread for Staff attention and post again to this thread to:
(1) confirm the URL of the blog you want them to empty;
(2) confirm that you know content deletion is irreversible.IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content does not remove it from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found): https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419?hl=en

Ok thanks! the URL I would like to empty is livingrevelation.wordpress.com
I know that the deletion of this content is irreversible
Thanks! About how long will I have to wait for this to be cleared?

Quite awhile is my guesstimate as there are others waiting for Staff help. I wouldn’t wait. I would do the bulk deletion myself.

So even after clearing my website i need to block the content on google so it doesn’t show up on SERP? I made a new website so that is why i wanted to delete the content on this wordpress. Do I need to block the content on my old wordpress so it doesn’t make my SEO bad on my new website?

To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs or indexed blog content does not remove it from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419?hl=en

so changing blog visibility to (discourage search engines from indexing this site) is enough to make sure my old deleted content doesn’t show up on google SERP and cache history? I dont need go through this link right? https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419?hl=en

Making the blog private will NOT remove the indexed content from the SERPs. It will simply prevent people from accessing it when they click the links.
