I want to competely remove contents and start over
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Okay, as in Delete Site?
In your Dashboard, click on or hover over “Tools.” There is a link to “Delete Site.”
I’ll be totally honest here, I am scared to click on that to see what happens–I would like to keep my site and boy, would I feel dumb if I got what I asked for here!! ;)
I suspect there will be an option to cancel or go forward with the delete–if you go this route would you respond here and share what happens?
If this is what you mean by “completely remove contents and start over,” If so, and if it were me, I would delete the site–and immediately open a new one if you would like to keep the same blog name. That way nobody could pick that domain name up in the time it would take you to, say, let the dog out and get a glass of water.
Good luck! I would like to know how it goes for you, either if this is what you are looking for or if you find another answer to your question, and will keep an eye out here.

Hey! I looked further and found two ways to do this:
1. Delete Site (we covered this earlier)
2. Empty Site (this might be more what you are looking for?)To Empty Site–go here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

Just a word to the wise. The search box works like a hot damn. Volunteers like me here have been filling it with correct answers to questions for over 7 years now so there’s no need to speculate. Simply search.

If you don’t have years worth of content then you can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk.
bulk delete images & media http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/deleting-files/#bulk-deletion
bulk delete posts > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#bulk-edit
bulk delete pages > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/edit-pages-screen/#bulk-edit
Here’s how to permanently delete Trash >
http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#deleting-permanentlyIMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting a blog or blog content does not remove any indexed content from appearing in the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.
To start again on the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/
The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.

Well, I haven’t figured this out yet, but was surprised to learn I had started a help forum question. I did get frustrated enough to go as far as asking to delete the site, but when I received the email with the active link to accomplish the task, I chicked out and deleted the email. Instructions say if I want to delete content to contact support and a happy rep will assist. But, there’s no way to contact support that I could find. So, I will read all of the above advice and report back. Thanks everyone! BTW, if you delete an account, you cannot reuse the name you had.

Yes, all of us regular forum Volunteers are aware deleted bog URLs are not recycled. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
But, there’s no way to contact support that I could find.
This is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work coopeartively together to deliver support. In fact most support questions do not require Staff attention at all. Most questions have been asked and answerd many times over.
What I posted above will definitely do the job of when it comes to bulk deleting blood content. It appears the blog linked to your username has next to no content at present so it shouldn’t take long at all before you are starting over again using then step by step tutorial Staff have prepared for new bloggers at linked to at the bottom of the Admin page.
Welcome to WordPress.com and happy blogging!

@gina04
It’s always good to see someone go for it and try to help another blogger. It makes me smile. :)Nice blog BTW and as we have intersecting interests I’m now following it under this username. I have another username that I use for my blogging tips blog. It’s timethief and I’m usually logged in under it. Happy rest of the weekend.
