  I registered the domain ‘hawlal3alm.com’ through WP.com and I want to delete it please.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I understand you would like to cancel your custom domain: hawlal3alm.com, but please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.

  Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation and you will not be able to receive a refund.

  You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:

  You may also transfer your domain to another registrar by following this guide:

  If you would like to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name, please reply to confirm.

  Hello. Could you please help me. I just purchased domain mapping on wordpress so I could move from self hosting with hostgator to wordpress.com. The self hosted blog is: preciousrhymes.com
  I wanted to move to wordpress.com to be able to take advantage of community of wordpress readers and tags that is not available for self hosted blogs. I totally seem to have messed up things at this moment and am just not sure how this will work. Could you please cancel my domain registration with wordpress. My receipt id is 7427760. Thanks so much.

  Hi there,

  If you want to move to WordPress.com you will need the domain mapping that you purchased. All you need to do is change the nameservers to us instead of Hostgators’:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Yes you have been refunded as well. Please note that it may take up to a week for the refund to show up in your bank account.
