Delete domain

I have been trying to get rid of this site for at least a year. I don’t want the domain. I don’t want access to the dashboard I don’t want to use the name ever again. I would like to stop being charged for it. I don’t want it anymore and I have had so much trouble trying to figure out how to get rid of it.

Provided you are logged in under the same username account that registered the blog and purchased the trial upgrade, you ought to be able cancel trial upgrades under Store → My Upgrades in your dashboard at any time, request a refund and also disable auto-renew.

I’ve just cancelled a domain name I registered about an hour ago, but didn’t realise I might not be able to use it again. I (stupidly) thought it would be easier to cancel and start again!
Is there any way you can ‘un-cancel’ the domain registration?

I just took a look in your account, and your domain has already been returned to the registrars. It should be released back to the public in the next few days at which point you can re-register it.

Hi, I have been experiencing the same problem. I want to cancel my domain (www.emmamarie.org), I have been trying to do for the best part of a year and half. Can someone please help?

Hi Emma!
Just to confirm, you do not want the domain emmamarie.org any longer. Is that correct? Please note, once a domain is cancelled, it is sent back to the registrar. You will not be able to register it elsewhere for quite awhile. There’s also a chance someone else may register it before you have a chance.
Please just reply back to confirm you do not want emmamarie.org!

Also need an expired domain removed!
I wanna have the domain “annebergsslingan.se” removed from the blog “annebergsslingan.wordpress.com” so I dont get the message that my domain has expired.

@hape680 – The domain you mention is not currently owned under your account. The request to remove the domain will need to come from the domain owner. Please have them submit that request to help@wordpress.com.
