Delete domain from the system
-
We’ve changed registrar’s for the domain lahikmajoe.me and or now using an external registrar (I’m a firm believer in having the registrar separate from the hosting). We want to point the domain back to the site here on WordPress.com , but the domain (which was originally bought through you) is still in the system and we are unable to add it as a pointed domain.
Can you please delete it from the system, so we can get a fresh start on domain mapping with this domain?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I flagged this for the staff to help you.
Was lahikmajoe.me mapped to a blog you own here? You should be able to transfer the domain mapping to another blog or delete it at
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades

The domain is no longer controlled here, it is controlled and managed at a third party registrar. We’ve already moved it off, we did that to get email support and to save a little money on the upgrades (it was but with a premium upgrade at $100/yr, but we only need domain mapping now at $13/yr).
We do want to point it back this way, but the data about it just needs to be removed from the system so we can add it back in as a mapped domain.

Actually, in looking at this deeper, this can be disregarded. I was assuming that because we had it outside, we would end up using an A record to point it here. I see in the documentation that we need to point it to the nameservers here (instead of the IP address).
That’s not a problem and I see in the site itself that we can get that all setup without any further changes. I think this request can be ignored for now. I’ll open a new ticket if I need something.

I removed the flag for the staff – if you want it back just type “modlook” (without quotes)in for a Tag and that will bring this to the attention of the staff
Sounds like you found these instructions:
