Delete domain name

    I want to delete my domain name brownmarket.in from my wordpress account brownmarketin.wordpress.com.

    I want to host my domain name from wordpress.org so first i want my domain name to be removed from here.

    Please help with this issue asap.

    Never delete your domain name otherwise it won’t be possible to use it again. If you want to move your domain to another site, https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#move-a-domain-name

    Hi there,

    I see you cancelled that domain on 7 January. Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. You should only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.

    In this case it looks like your domain should become available again towards the middle of next week, at which point you can try to register it somewhere else.

    Otherwise we can also restore the domain to your WordPress.com account, and help you point it to another hosting provider until it becomes eligible for transfer. If you prefer that option, let me know and I can send you a link you can use to pay for the domain again.
