delete domain to use on another website template company

  hi,

  I no longer wish to use wordpress as my business template though would like to keep the domain. if i cancel it does that mean the ‘company name’ cannot be registered with another website?

  company name is called ‘flowerofthelilyevents.com’

  I’m really confused and could figure this out and wanted confirmation before i deleted the domain from here and using it for another site…

  please help.

  Hi there!

  I think the answer you are looking for is here:

  If you registered your domain with WordPress.com, you don’t have to use WordPress.com as your host. The domain you registered is yours, and you can use it with any host you want.

  thank you – it won’t let me transfer it over stating the following:

  An error occured while trying to send the Domain Transfer code. Please try again or Contact Support if you continue to have trouble.
