delete e-mail follower

    Been having nasty messages left by e-mail follower and would like to have blogs not going to person. How do I delete follower?

    Unfortunately there is no way to prevent someone from following a public blog. Short of setting your blog to private, which means only the people you specifically invite will be able to read it, the best you can do is blacklist that person under your discussion settings. Blacklisting someone means their comments go directly to spam, so they don’t appear on the blog and you never have to see them, but as long as your blog is public anyone with an internet connection can read it and subscribe to it.

    For instructions on blacklisting a commenter, see here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#comment-blacklist Please note, don’t add the person’s IP address to the blacklist section, even though the support document says so. All WP.com sites share IP addresses and if you blacklist this person’s IP address you may end up blacklisting other people as well. Only username, email and URL if he has one.
