  how do i delete 1988 fron the top of the page.

  Hi there, are you refering to your free website with the address http://myer1988.wordpress.com/ ? I don’t see “er1988” in the site title, are you referring to the http://myer1988.wordpress.com/ address itself?

  If so, you’d need to look into changing the site address. I should note that my.wordpress.com (if that is what you were intending to use) can’t be used as site names should have a minimum of four characters; but once you know what address you’d want to use, you can change to that one using this guide:
