Delete expired domain
-
Can someone please remove the myverbalvomit.com domain name from my account so that myverbalvomit.wordpress.com is accessible? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can do this yourself.
Read on how to do that here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/Great blog by the way!!

I don’t have anything listed under My Upgrades. It’s an expired mapped domain. I just want the wordpress.com site to be active.
-
Yeah I already did that, but I still get a message popping up on the blog that my domain has expired even though it’s directing to .wordpress.com now.
-
Thanks for clarifying.
This is not an issue with WordPress.com. You purchase the domain (myverbalvomit.com) with GoDaddy as it shows here:
That means you need to get a hold of themeto take care of this. Unfortunately GoDaddy and other companies like them push the renewals really hard even it it affects your own website.
Hope you get that fixed soon.

I never purchased my domain through GoDaddy, I did it through wordpress and was always hosted on wordpress. I don’t know why it says that.

I’m sorry for the confusion. I have tagged a staff on this thread. They will be getting back to you shortly.
They will get to the root of this issue quickly as they have greater privileges.
Hope you resolve this soon.

I don’t even have a GoDaddy account.
It is irrelevant what my old .com name pointed to or currently points to; I simply want the URL myverbalvomit.wordpress.com to now point to my blog.

Hi Kelly,
Sorry for the trouble! The expired domain (myverbalvomit.com) was stuck in our system — I just removed that for you so you can use your site’s free address again:
https://myverbalvomit.wordpress.com/
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Yay. Glad it was resolved.
@kebell718, happy blogging and keep up the hard work on your fitness endeavors!!
