Could you assist with the deletion of the expired domains?

    Hi there,

I understand you would like to cancel your custom domains: wishpress.org and wishpoetrypress.com, but please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.

Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.

I found that the domains were in another account. In order to cancel these, I will need to verify this by emailing the address on those specific accounts. Would you like to proceed with this?

The original editor who paid for the domains has gone MIA. When I select the new domain, which I purchased today, it doesn’t redirect – only shows the ones that are expired.

Is there another way to go about canceling these domains? After all, they are expired and will not be used in the future. There isn’t a way to redirect past the screen that says these two are expired, so that viewers can see the recently-purchased domain. The original editor was before my time working with Walking Is Still Honest – and hasn’t been heard from for several months.

I am attempting to speak with the original editor yet again, to see if he’s kosher with being sent an email about canceling. I know he would be – if only I can get in touch with him, and pull him out from whatever rock he’s been hiding under. Once he cancels, I don’t intend to renew these domains, so would appreciate their removal.

Thanks for all of the help. I’m sorry for seeming so formal. I just want the domain I purchased yesterday to work. :-)

    Hi there,

Thanks for trying to contact the owners of the domain. I have left the expired domains so that the owners can do as they wish, but I have removed the warning notice so that readers do not see that when they view your site.

    Cheers!
