Delete featured area in Sela

  Hello! Does anyone know how to get rid of the featured area of the front page in the Sela theme? I would really like for my three front-page widgets to be the focus of my homepage, but I can’t figure out how to get rid of the featured area without deleting the whole page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  hi,

  1. If you are referring to the Featured image with the text on it (With the header: SERVICES), then
  – Open the “Home” page for editing,
  – remove the ‘Featured Image” on this page,
  – remove the text from the page,
  – update the page to save the changes.
  The title of the home page “SERVICES” will be displayed in this case.

  The other option
  2. You can add a little bit of Custom CSS, if you have Premium Plan or Business Plan.
  – Add following code to the CSS in the Customizer:

  
  .front-page-content-area .hero {
      visibility: hidden;
      height: 0;
  }
  

  The whole featured image and the text will just disappear.

  Then you will see the three front page widget pages.

  You can then go and add ‘Featured Images” to

  – https://factnfictiontechnician.com/sensitivity-reading
  – https://factnfictiontechnician.com/copyediting/

  They will look nicer with the featured images and the images also serve as hyperlinks to the pages.
