Delete featured image

  HI I am a wordpress newbie

  I mistakenly uploaded the image of one of our Judges as a featured image (His image is also in he body of the post)

  I have searched and search for an answer to this question and cannot find it in Help:

  How can I delete a featured image without deleting a post?

  From the Featured Images support page,

  To remove or change a featured image, simply re-open the post or page editor and click Remove featured image in the Featured Image module. If you remove a featured image, your custom header image will be displayed.
