  Hi there guys

  How do you delete:

  Blog at WordPress.com. | The Blask Theme.

  from the bottom of blask theme in a Premium Account?

  All WordPress.com sites must maintain the footer credit in order to use our service. You may tweak its look and feel to match your customizations, but the credit must remain legible.

  i have however seen WordPress-created websites with no such credits. Mgith they have been designed using the .org version then?

  Yes, they would have been self-hosted sites. If you see a WordPress.com site without a footer credit, feel free to report it to us so we can have a look.

  Many thanks for the quick reply, highly appreciated. And I will! When you say self-hosted, do you mean created in WordPress but then hosted at a separate location? That may explain things; I will try to find the URLs to the sites implicated and get back to you.

  Self hosted is not hosted on WordPress.COM but using a host like BlueHost for instance – then the WordPress.ORG software is installed

  However – many themes have as part of THEIR terms of service that the Theme Credits must remain intact – so just because you are on your own host and using the WordPress.ORG software does not automatically allow you to remove the footer credits

  also I don’t think many people read the footer or pay any attention it it anyway – put some content on your site and the footer gets pushed to the bottom
