Delete image from Photon
-
I need to delete this image and all its variants from photon cache.
https://i0.wp.com/www.tvio.it/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/trapani_centro.jpg?fit=520%2C324
https://i0.wp.com/www.tvio.it/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/centro-trapani.jpg?fit=1600%2C1051
Actually I would appreciate that the cache for all images for my site http://www.tvio.it be deleted as I no longer have photon turned on in Jetpack.
Thanks,

Hi there, for questions and assistance with Jetpack plugin’s Photon module on your self-hosted WP site, you’ll want to head over to the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
Best wishes.

Hi there,
Neither of those links return any image for me, and it looks like you’ve deleted the image from your site as http://www.tvio.it/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/trapani_centro.jpg return a page not found error if I try to view it.
As @justjennifer indicated, Jetpack support is the best place for help with this, but I should also mention that we can’t flush the photon cache for an entire site, only for specific files.

yes, from our site we deleted the photo but we noticed it stays on google and it is published with the links above I have reported

Both links you provided shows “We cannot complete this request, remote data could not be fetched”

but we noticed it stays on google
The image is showing up in Google’s image search at that URL. (temp screenshot)
WordPressdotcom/Jetpack doesn’t have any control over cached images in search engines. If you need to remove the information from search engines before they crawl your site again to find the image removed, you’ll need to contact each search engine directly to request removal. https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

the problem is not whether the search engines find the photo, but that the photo is actually deleted from my site.
And right now with links like this
https://i0.wp.com/www.tvio.it/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/centro-trapani.jpg?fit=1600%2C1051it seems that the photo is still on my site

Have you cleared your browser cache and cookies or tried accessing the images from a Private browser window?
-
When I try to access that link I get this:
https://cloudup.com/c6OhZyMQ7IB
So that image is not on our servers any more. As @justjennifer mentions above, the image can also be cached in your browser and saved in your browser history. That might explain why you can still access that link.

have you tried it with this?

@tancredi85 Clicking on that link I get the following message:
We cannot complete this request, remote data could not be fetched
In fact both the links you’ve provided in this thread come up for me with that same message, same with @kokkieh and @staartmees. So as @kokkieh mentioned, if you are still seeing the image, it’s cached somewhere at your end, browser, router or perhaps ISP.

That’s the exact same link as you posted before, and that’s the one I checked, yes. That file is not on our servers any more.
